  • This maple from the village of Pigeon Hill in the Eastern Townships of Quebec, a few hundred meters from the United States, (Vermont) watches over us from a snowy cornfield during the winter of 2004-2005. This image is taken from the project La 5 ème Saison by LAD , It is still faithful to his post today. SYL "visited" him by offering him the warmth of ebony.


    The original and unique work Du bleu, du blanc et éclats d'ébène is composed of an image created by LAD and a sculptural intervention in ebony wood by SYL.

    Museum (archive) quality pigment print on 100% cotton paper with a velvety, slightly textured matte finish.

    Sculptural intervention with ebony recovered from the workshop of Mario Lamarre, luthier.

    The work is framed in a white shaddow box frame with ArtGlass AR70 anti-reflective glass.
