We encountered this majestic Douglas fir on Vancouver Island during one of our forest tours in the summer of 2021. This tree stands tall in this lush forest.
The original work Mettre de l'or sur ses blessures alludes to the theme of wounds becoming strengths. The gold leaf affixed to the imperfections inscribed on the trunk highlights them.
